Quick Start

Quick Start Flow

1. Install Logos AI from the desktop install guide.

2. Create an API.Bible key from the API.Bible setup guide.

3. Put the key in your local environment:

   API_BIBLE_KEY=your_api_bible_key_here

4. Optional: install Ollama from the Ollama guide if you want local AI.

5. Launch the desktop app and open a passage.

6. Open Logos Chat to ask about the current passage, or keep reading in the web reader if you only want the lighter browser experience.

Common first commands

logos --help

logos read "John 1"

ollama list
